All Gobi-X products are designed by our in-house draughtsman in Solidworks. Designed for the protection of steering components on solid front axle vehicles. (70 Series Land Cruisers and Defender). Our steering guard protection plates are manufactured using Marine Grade 5182 aluminium for increased strength while still maintaining the weight saving benefits of using aluminium.
Chassis mounting brackets are fabricated using 8mm CNC laser cut steel and include recovery points. These mounting brackets are fitted using the OEM bolt holes and no drilling is required. All our chassis mounting brackets go through a 6 bath pre-treatment process including a final stage of Metal Phosphate coating for superior rust prevention. The pre-treatment process is followed by an automotive quality powder coating layer applied for extended durability. All fitment hardware and instructions are supplied.
